Description Amino acid is the main  component of proteins in body such as structural protein, enzyme, hormone and neurotransmitters. Beside amino acids represent as energy source, amino acids are also involved in a lot of metabolism which influences the body. Due to the increase in consuming multicomponent of amino acid for the therapy and requirement of food diet it has encouraged  pharmaceutical industry to develop various product of multicomponent amino acid. Analysis of multicomponent of amino acid in infuse has problem in detactibility. To overcome the detectability problem it needs a  modification in chemical structure of amino acids by derivatization reaction  so that the adduct detected with appropriate detector. The aim of the research is  to obtain analytical method  condition for multicomponent amino acids in  infuse dosage form. In the present research, modification of chemical structure of amino acid used OPA/MPA reagent, which resulted in an indole adduct. The indole adduct was  scaned in spectrophotometer UV and spectrofluorometer to obtain max excitation and emission wavelength. The indoleadduct  wasscaned  about 30 minute in spectrofluorometer to know its stability. OPA/MPA  was made in several concentrations to achive  optimum reactions. The result  of research had maximum exitation wavelength  335 nm and emision wavelength 450 nm. The adduct OPA/MPA isoindole had fluorosenceintensity  not significant different compare with adduct OPA/ME.. The optimum intensity and stability  was used concentration  OPA/MPA 27 mg/ml.    Key Word :  amino acid, derivatization, OPA/MPA, HPLC
